Over the last several years I have developed a specialty of working with
medical imagery, ultrasounds and X-rays. The results are excellent visuals for continuing educational courses and publications.
Project: Scanning and Archiving
I recently completed a 2,000 image scanning and archiving project for
The Ohio Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. I was asked to scan/digitize, deep clean, restore and
archive their extensive 25-year-old image base. Once the project was concluded, it allowed them to print, post on web pages
and create educational CDs and Power Point presentations with ease.
Project: The Handbook of Ultrasound
in Trauma and Critical Illness
For this project I scanned 200 ultrasounds. The difficulty came in getting
ultrasounds printed on thermal paper to reproduce correctly without loss of image detail. To order a copy of this book, please
